– Badminton Horse Trials attract equestrian lovers

March 04, 2011 (PRLEAP.COM) Sports News can announce that one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events in the world will be coming to Badminton in April.

The three-day event is the pinnacle of equestrian events and attracts one of the largest crowds of any outdoor sporting event in the world.

The Badminton Horse Trials will be held from the 21st to the 25th of April 2011, making it the perfect Bank Holiday weekend for families and individuals with a passion for horses and equestrian sports.

Numerous side attractions for the non-equestrian lover are also held during the 5-day event, making it a must-see for anyone who wants to experience a slice of British culture and activity.

The event sponsors both British and International riders, boasting five-days of events that lead into different phases of the competition. One of the most popular is the Dressage event on Friday and Saturday where riders are tested on 26 complex movements of varying difficulty.

The Badminton event is one of only six events worldwide that is considered a four star event in the equestrian sports arena and is also known to be the oldest and generally the most distinguished and difficult event of its kind in the world.

Those wishing to attend the event can stay in a hotel in Bath where accommodations for any budget are being offered.
