Operation Christmas Cards FROM Iraq

Operation Christmas Cards From Iraq is being sponsored by Steven Currie, owner of YouSendTheCards.com.

As a way to boost morale, YouSendTheCards.com has put in place a system to allow service and support personnel to use the internet to send actual greeting cards home to family and friends, from wherever they are in the world. These cards can be customized with their pictures and text. They are printed, addressed and have first class postage put on them. And one of the best things is that this service costs about $1.50 per Christmas Card. Because they are mailed in the USA, they should arrive at their destination within 3-4 days, depending on the volume at the U.S. Post Office. This will allow them to arrive quicker than using the military mail.

“My wife’s son is a green beret and he is somewhere near Samarra. His wife said that he can get access to internet sooner than he can get to a regular store,” Mr. Currie reported. “She said he can only get to a store about every two weeks.” As long as the service person has access to the internet somewhere, they can use this system.

This system also allows users to import their name and addresses using an Excel spreadsheet, which will save time. But it also allows people to add new users one at a time, as needed.
