DirectRooms.com – Glasgow to host Ideal Home Show Scotland from 27 to 30 May 2011

The three day award-winning show will take place at Glasgow's SECC on the banks of the River Clyde and opens at 10:00 am on 27th May, ending at 6:00 pm on 30th May.

Highlights of the show include many television celebrities, as well as celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, home improvement demonstrations, interior design and advice, kitchen design, innovative gadgets, ideal gardens, and the flagship, purpose-built "Ideal Home".

The Ideal Home Show Scotland is suitable for families, and children are welcome. Children under fifteen can attend for free when their places are booked alongside an adult ticket. Ticket prices are £12 in advance or £15 on the day, with concessions available for attendees over 60. Show guides are available to purchase for £3 on the day. Groups of over 10 people can contact the SECC for discounted tickets. Coach parking is free and available if mentioned when booking.

With over 400 exhibitors, this popular three-day event means that demand for rooms in Glasgow hotels will be exceptional. Visitors to the show are strongly advised to book accommodation well in advance.
