LA&C Announces New Debt Settlement Project for Main Streeters.

Changes in Bankruptcy Law Increases Need for Debt-Burdened Main Streeters to Resolve Debt Via Negotiation – New Arm of Consumer Advocacy Group Formed for this Task

LA and Company is pleased to announce the formation of a new, timely and exciting affiliate, the Debt Settlement Project. DSP is designed to help individuals and small businesses in debt re-claim their lives. With the new bankruptcy laws now in effect, Main Streeters, be they individuals or small businesses, will find it much more difficult, if not impossible, to obtain the “fresh start” that the expired bankruptcy laws allowed.

So, what, then, is a debt-ridden Main Streeter to do?

“We have established the Debt Settlement Project to serve individuals and small businesses. Our job is to negotiate directly with creditors for consumers and small businesses nationwide on a case-by-case basis to reduce and reorder/restructure debt owed on a realistic basis that both the Main Street debtor and the creditor can live with,” says Project director Paul N. Young, who also heads the Main Street burned investor’s best friend, the 17 year old Securities Arbitration Hotline (1-800-222-4724).

Paul Young: “Money. It’s about money. So much of what American life revolves today is about money, personal and business finances. Not by theory or policy debates, but in the real-world, at home on Main Street, to the extent that we can actively, hands-on help people reduce the strain and pain of personal and small business debt, our Project can truly enrich lives, enabling people to sleep better, enjoy family time, reduce family tensions, and, too, also in so doing help to foster America’s economic stability and growth one family and one business after the next. This is our guiding philosophy and our motivator. Our new DSP shall be extremely valuable to so many American families and businesses.”

“For over 17 years we’ve been on the front lines nationwide helping burned Main Street investors fight Wall Street and win. Through strong and careful advocacy and negotiation with the top financial firms in the country, we have recovered a lot of money for so many Main Streeters over the years that with the new and restrictive bankruptcy laws now in force, the Debt Settlement Project was a natural expansion of our services (it is also our first expansion),” states Young. “In so many cases, short and long term debt, even judgments, may be negotiated in a way that makes it easier for the Main Streeter to handle. But, as we know from the Securities Arbitration Hotline and working for burned investors, embarrassment and a ‘put it away for another day’ attitude holds people back from taking action. This is a big mistake,” Young indicates. “So, as we do for burned investors, DSP shall work for Main Streeters in a confidential way.”

“Fortunately, our many years of advocacy and negotiation experience with the largest financial services firms in America have well positioned us to continue and expand our important consumer work. The Debt Settlement Project is a natural outgrowth of our work properly exploiting our vast experience.”

“We shall work hard to help people and small businesses renegotiate their debts so they can avoid continued financial hardship and a much more onerous bankruptcy proceeding down the road. We work only for consumers and are not affiliated in any way with any credit issuing body of any kind. Like the Securities Arbitration Hotline and it’s services for burned investors for 17 years, the Debt Settlement Project is focused solely for the benefit of the Main Streeter – period,” concludes Young. “We shall not split fees or be compensated by creditors in any way, as doing so would be unethical and divert us from our allegiance to renegotiate the Main Streeter’s debt in the best manner possible. We work only for the Main Streeter! We are ‘purists’ in every sense of the word and work only for the benefit of Main Street.”

The Debt Settlement Hotline is 1-800-222-4724.
