Acoustifence-Landscape™ Attachments Add a Fresh Look to Sound Blocking Fence

Picture the peaceful scenic backdrop of an ivy covered English garden wall, or a hedge of morning glories; a field of sunflowers and blue skies, or a beautiful thicket with impatiens below.

For home and business owners who have already installed, or are ready to install Acoustifence® sound reduction fencing material in an effort to quiet outdoor noise encroaching on their property, or to retain noise emanating from their property, the aesthetic can be creating a challenge.

The makers of Acoustifence now have a solution for camouflaging the product's solid black surface for those customers who want peace and quiet in their outdoor space, and a bit of landscaped polish so that all the senses are appeased.

With the all new Acoustifence-Landscape™ attachments, any fence can receive a fresh new look or simply blend in to its surroundings, simply and tastefully.

These beautifully photographed landscape attachments are weather- and UV-resistant. Designed with the same black anodized brass grommets used to hang Acoustifence, they fasten directly over the Acoustifence sound barrier fencing. Each landscape attachment is made of industrial grade solar fabric, and like the Acoustifence material they cover, they are capable of many years of usage on construction, marine, highway or residential sites.

Acoustifence-Landscape attachments can be chosen from Acoustiblok's catalog of hundreds of landscapes, or a custom design can be made from a personal photo or artwork. Logos, trademarks, company graphics or any design can also be created.

One landscape covers one side of the Acoustifence, which can be attached to improve the view from the street, or to enhance the landscape within the property. Two Landscape attachments can be added to enhance both sides of the Acoustifence.

Acoustifence-Landscapes can also be attached to any existing fence or structure, but when hung alone will not deliver any of the noise reduction benefits that Acoustifence delivers.

Acoustiblok President Lahnie Johnson says the addition of Acoustifence-Landscape attachments to the company's product catalog provides new potential for the use of Acoustifence in all landscaping projects.

"This is a very simple and economical solution for our sound abatement product's less than appealing surface," Johnson said. "Now Acoustifence will be a perfect fit in new and existing landscape settings, thanks to its unequaled ability to reduce unpleasant exterior noise and its ability to blend attractively. In most uses, it's a dramatic improvement over the existing appearance.

"It boils down to providing a better quality of life for anyone living near any annoying noise source."

Acoustifence customer Grace Farmer added an Acoustifence-Landscape attachment featuring a field of sunflowers over her Acoustifence, and says she is thrilled with the results.

"It actually looked better than our existing landscaping, so real and colorful I thought I was coming home to the wrong house," she said.

ABOUT ACOUSTIFENCE:

Acoustifence® is a simple and economical first step noise abatement solution for both residential and industrial usage. A 1/8-inch (3mm) thick unique sound deadening material measuring six-feet high by 30-feet long with black anodized brass eyelets along the top and bottom edge for easy attachment. Heavy duty nylon ties are included with each roll. Easily installed or removed in less than one hour, impervious to mold, mildew, and UV, Acoustifence is virtually indestructible.

The soundproofing material in Acoustifence is a proprietary formula of the Acoustiblok® Corporation, developed and refined over a 10-year period for various applications. Acoustiblok is recognized and sold worldwide, earning product awards from the British House of Commons, as well as being one of NASA's Top 50 Spinoff companies.

Acoustifence has proven performance in highway environments, construction sites, and industrial plants; it can accommodate any height fence or structure by simply overlapping the six-foot by 30-foot sections. To store, Acoustifence sections simply roll up like carpet into less than a 12-inch diameter.

Independent lab tests of the Acoustifence material show a sound transmission classification (STC) of 28, which represents to the human ear an approximately 85-percent reduction in sound. Results will be less, relative to surrounding sound reflective objects such as buildings or trees and the amount of Acoustifence installed. Acoustifence and all Acoustiblok products are made in the USA, from all USA materials.
