Gold Canyon Candle Co. Turns to Spring2 Technologies for Software Application Designed to Support New Business Model

SANDY, Utah – Spring2 Technologies today announced the successful implementation of the Web-based Sales Management System it designed and created for Gold Canyon Candle Co. Since its launch, the new system has been servicing more than 5,000 sales orders weekly.

Spring2, a rapid custom software development company, was hired by Gold Canyon when executives realized that to continue to grow their business they would need to change Gold Canyon’s business model from a traditional manufacturer/distributor model to a direct sales party-plan model.

The Web-based system that Spring2 designed, tested and implemented for Gold Canyon in less than six months includes complex order management, team management, multi-level commission tracking, customer care systems, financial integration and back office warehousing management system integration.

In addition, Gold Canyon’s new party plan business model meant it needed a system to offer its demonstrators that would allow them to each have their own personalized e-commerce Web sites. Spring2’s software allows Gold Canyon’s growing demonstrator base to easily create their own e-commerce/order entry Web sites that are tied directly to the new Sales Management System.
