Anti-Sebum Ships Fordyce Spots Treatment Containing Argan Oil

International skin care company Anti-Sebum have released a topical skin cream that helps to reduce the size and visibility of Fordyce spots. Using only natural ingredients, the product exploits the natural benefits of Argan Oil to improve self confidence in sufferers.

It is estimated that around 80% of the adult population suffer from Fordyce spots, with polls suggesting the condition is more prevalent in young men. Fordyce spots are ectopic sebaceous glands usually present around the mouth and on the genitals, they appear as small raised bumps on the skin. Although natural, the spots are embarrassing, not least because of their location. Fordyce spots are not considered a disease as the they do not produce symptoms.

There is no permanent Fordyce spots cure, although many temporary solutions exist. These include laser removal, steroid use and other topical treatments. The latest solution from Anti-Sebum combines all natural ingredients, including Argan Oil, to help reduce the appearance of Fordyce spots without using any harmful ingredients.

Argan oil is collected from the nuts of the Argan tree (Argania spinosa), a species that dates back millions of years and which once covered north Africa and parts of southern Europe. However the Argan tree can now only be found in an increasingly small area of Morocco. It has been used by the local Berber women for centuries, to soothe eczema, acne and psoriasis.

The oil controls the release of sebum in the body. When the sebaceous glands (in this case Fordyce spots) start to over produce sebum oils, Argan stops and prevents this from happening.
