- Percussionists prepare for Seoul Drum Festival

Teams of percussion artists from around the world will head to South Korea for this year's Seoul Drum Festival.
Due to run from Saturday September 3rd and Saturday September 24th, the annual event is a dynamic celebration of the art of drumming and takes place in Seoul Forest.
Previous editions of the festival have seen renowned percussion teams from nations such as France, China and Japan travel to the city and play in front of large crowds.
According to the organisers, musicians from as far afield as Australia, Mexico, Brazil and Kosovo have been invited to perform in Seoul this year.
The main performances will be held in Seoul Square on Friday September 23rd and the following day.
Other popular features of the festival include the fringe drum concert, the percussion parade and the percussion art market, where the activities are usually divided into two sections for Korean music and Western sounds.
