- World Tenpin Bowling Championships to be held in Hong Kong

Hong Kong will host the World Tenpin Bowling Championship for women in September, bringing together some of the finest players in the world.
There will be a range of events to enjoy, including singles, doubles, team of five and the Masters challenge, with more than 200 participants signed up to play.
Running from September 1st to 11th, the competition will be the first time Hong Kong has ever hosted a world event and will be free to watch.
Practice games will take place on the first two days, with the opening ceremony scheduled for September 2nd at 20:00 local time and the action getting started the following day.
The competition is to be held at Hong Kong Bowling City, which is located in the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
Games start at 09:00 daily, with play due to go on until 17:00 most days, but continuing as late as 22:30 on one day.
The last edition of the World Tenpin Bowling Championships for women was held in Las Vegas two years ago, with competitors from the US, Korea and Taiwan among the winners.
