The Advanced Trauma Life Support for Doctors (ATLS) Provider Course will be made of practical sections where doctors have a hands-on approach to treating patients as well as a series of lectures. The participation in lectures will feature the correct ways to carry out the first assessment of a patient and then how they should be treated.

During the practical sessions doctors can perform procedures on simulated patients and this includes ventilation techniques such as inserting tubes through the nose and mouth.

Lek Boonlert, marketing head at commented: "The ATLS Provider Course is beneficial to so many doctors working in trauma care that the programme is likely to be well attended and hotel rooms will be limited."
