Holidaymakers planning a trip to Thailand next month could enjoy an energetic evening out at the Full Moon Party, due to be held on Koh Phangan island next month.
The event has been organised regularly by tourists on the crescent-shaped Haad Rin beach due to the beautiful view it offers of the full moon, with the next party due to take place on September 12th.
Between 10,000 and 30,000 revellers descend on the tropical island each month, with festivities beginning at dusk as tables are lined along the beach and lamps lit.
When the party kicks off, attendees can dance the night away to a diverse array of music, while entertainers such as jugglers and fire-eaters will also be on hand to entertain guests.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to buy drinks, witness impromptu fireworks shows or simply relax in the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
The Full Moon Party is one of many tourist attractions available to visitors on Koh Phangan, with scuba diving and massage facilities also present on the island.
Party animals can browse an array of Thailand hotels at ahead of next month's event, including the Melati Beach Resort & Spa.
