Zombies, Comedy and Romance - Authority FX to Attend Toronto After Dark Film Festival Premiere of DeadHeads

Authority FX (AFX), having contributed the opening animation and select visual effects shots to the zombie/comedy DeadHeads, will be appearing at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. The award winning zombie film has been doing very well at festivals receiving praise from the likes of horror icon Bruce Campbell and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore.

With a fresh take on an otherwise stale genre, DeadHeads injects comedy and romance into undead zombie veins. While DeadHeads shows at 7pm on October 22nd at the Toronto Underground Cinema (186 Spadina Avenue), the 6th annual 2011 Toronto After Dark Film Festival runs from October 20th – 27th. Incidentally, the 9th annual Toronto Zombie Walk also happens on the 22nd, and has made the DeadHeads premiere the official after party of the Zombie Walk. Amazingly, close to 6000 rotten zombies walked the streets last year. Discount to the DeadHeads screening is being offered to all participants of this year's deathly zombie stroll.

"We're very excited to attend the Toront After Dark Film Festival Premiere of DeadHeads," said Ryan P. Wilson, co-owner and visual effects supervisor of AFX. "It's always a pleasure to meet with fans of the genre and mingle with cast and crew. In addition to the fun of it all, there's always an opportunity to meet new filmmakers and discuss potential visual effects projects."

AFX is a boutique digital visual effects studio in Waterloo, Ontario dedicated to creating high quality visual effects for both film and television productions.
