Sydney, January 2,2012 - 1300apprentice, a Group Training Company (GTO) is now compliant with the EOWW (The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency) Act for 2011. EOWW agency administers the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act (1999). 1300apprentice works for the benefit of women in Australia. This new achievement will definitely help in the future growth of the company.

1300apprentice has taken many initiatives within the organization for the advancement of women employees in the workplace. It has collaborated more flexibly and pro-actively for the overall development of both women and business.

1300apprentice is a not-for-profit company and has been operating for over 20 years. With four divisions, STE, Capitol Skills Centre (CSC), Wollongong Training and Employment (WTE) and Sydney Recruitment Labour (SRL), they cater to the requirement of approximately 300 apprentices' jobs and trainees' job in approximately 40 different vocational areas. Labour Hire
They provide temporary staff such as Trade Assistants, Production Workers
and Construction Labourers. Labour hire can be supplied for a short or long term period at competitive rates.

Worker's Compensation
They manage insurance, handle any claims and coordinate return-to-work programs when required.

Permanent Recruitment
They have a professional recruitment process that ensures the candidates meet the job requirements.

Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)
STE 1300apprentice have a commitment to OH&S and this is demonstrated by:

  • Workplace inspection prior to commencement of contract staff.
