Some of Asia's best and most charismatic dancers will be participating in the upcoming Hong Kong Salsa Festival, which is taking place at the end of February 2012.
The event has been held annually since 2002 and is one of the longest-running salsa festivals in the world, showcasing top Asian performers alongside leading dancers from around the globe.
Running for a week from February 27th until March 4th, the 2012 event incorporates the Aceki World Salsa Championships and the first Asia Zouk Festival, as well as live performances, parties and workshops.
The world championships should prove a particular highlight, with top dancers competing in the professional, amateur, team and Bachata categories for cash prizes and the chance to be crowned the best in the world.
Most of the events will be taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with a grand street party also set to be held at the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui on February 29th.
All-inclusive passes for the entire line-up of events can be purchased online for HK$3,600 (£302.40) throughout the month of January.
