ConcertCrowd Facebook App adds Streaming Audio, Giving Users a Whole New Way to Discover Live Music

The latest version of ConcertCrowd aims to revolutionize the way people discover live music. Launching today, the completely re-designed App now has integrated streaming audio - allowing users to sample tracks and listen to bands right from within the App. Through a partnership with Rdio, ConcertCrowd users can now access millions of tracks from Artists around the globe. Rdio subscribers can listen to full tracks and albums within ConcertCrowd while non-subscribers can listen to 30 second samples for free.

With a global database of concert listings, full integration with a user's Facebook network, a custom recommendation engine, direct ticket links, social sharing features, a revamped interface, artist search and now streaming audio - ConcertCrowd gives users everything they need to find their next favorite show.

"After a successful beta launch a few months back and with a community of over 3,000 installed users, we took the next logical step for the app and partnered with Rdio to give our users what they wanted most: the ability to listen to bands before they saw them live," says ConcertCrowd creator, Arman Javaherian. "This is the first time any app has combined concert listings, streaming audio and Facebook in this way and we know that once users try our new version, they'll wonder why it wasn't done sooner."

The new version of ConcertCrowd is 100% free and can be found at http://www.concertcrowd.com
