CARLSBAD, Calif. (February 8, 2012) — Hay House, Inc., the world's largest self-help and transformational book publisher, taps experiential branding agency, Ikonic Tonic, to re-create its brand image in animated motion as it breaks into the TV and movie business. Following a competitive review, Ikonic Tonic was selected to develop the animated opener for Hay House's new TV and Films divisions, based on the agency's creative ideas, lengthy cinematic experience, and unique ability to communicate an established brand to both existing and new audiences. The resulting animation visually delivers the Hay House brand message, bridging Hay House's rich publishing history to the potential future film audience. Approved on the first round of review by all executive leadership at Hay House, including legendary founder Louise L. Hay, Ikonic Tonic delivered a visual experience beyond all expectations.

The ability to work closely with Hay House personnel proved to be an integral element to the project. By interviewing creative leaders of the company, Ikonic Tonic infiltrated itself into the corporate philosophy of Hay House, easily grasping the goal of the brand image to be created. "Ikonic Tonic listened to our needs and created exactly the story we wanted to be told visually," explains Carina Sammartino, Senior Publicist.

Brian Dyches, Chief Marketing Officer for Ikonic Tonic, explains, "We were selected to tell the Hay House story, steeped in history and one that has helped so many people globally from Main Street to Wall Street and Hollywood to Middle America. Translating 24 years into a 15 second animated brand message for Hay House Films was the goal, and we were given a week to do it. Producing and scoring a completed work for Hay House and delivering beyond expectations on the first pass within a week is a testament to the dedication both companies gave to hit the deadline," says Brian.

Hay House's decision to expand the company with this new medium seemed natural with its content library of over 900 books and 40 million products. The film and TV divisions will develop, produce and distribute inspirational films theatrically worldwide, on network and cable TV, and through its Hay House Publishing platforms. The first project Tales of Everyday Magic is an anthology of films directed by Head of Production, Michael Goorjian. Announced in Variety, the films are currently being shopped to television networks.
