Tiburon’s first and only full service, luxury hotel and executive meeting center, The Lodge at Tiburon – a member of the Larkspur Collection — announces the appointment of general manager Jean-Pierre Alotte. The $5.5 million dollar reinvention of the 102-room Lodge at Tiburon is slated for completion in December of 2005. Located on the scenic Tiburon peninsula, the hotel is situated in the heart of the charming Marin County city of Tiburon, only ten miles from San Francisco.

Alotte, who was born and raised in Bordeaux, France, began his career in the restaurant and hospitality industry nearly 30 years ago. Most recently he served as general manager for the Kimpton Group of San Francisco. Prior to this, Alotte’s career has taken him around the globe as general manager and director of operations and food & beverage for many international luxury hotel groups including Sofitel, Stouffer & Renaissance Hotels working at properties in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and multiple cities within the United States, from New York to Memphis.
