Thailand visitors will be able to experience shopping at a floating market during the Sweet Grape and Best of Damnoen Saduak Fair, which takes place in March 2012.
The event is held on Wat Chotikaram Pier in the Amphoe Damnoen Saduak district and will allow guests to purchase a wide variety of produce, while taking in the sight of a bustling market made up of colourfully-stocked paddle boats.
Ratchaburi province is famous for its sweet White Malaga dessert grapes, mangos, coconuts and oranges, all of which will be available to purchase fresh during the festival.
In addition to the shopping, various events and attractions are being organised during the month, including food, fruit and sweet grape contests, as well as a beauty pageant.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for attendees to sample some of the area's delicious Kuay Teow Reua boat noodles or purchase various locally produced handicraft items, as part of the Thai government's One Tambon One Product scheme.
