LOS ANGELES, CA—Veteran music producer, engineer and performer Dee Robb of Cherokee Recording Studios has some industry advice for indie artists all over the world. Because of the universal applications of his knowledge and expertise, Robb chose Internet television station Music Plus TV (www.musicplustv.com) as a platform for reaching artists in the D.I.Y. community on a global level.

In an interview with video jockey Gerrad Hall, Robb discussed the current state of the music industry in comparison to previous generations, and offered new artists career-building advice.

“If an artist believes in himself and believes in his talent, then I don’t think that artist should worry about where he’s going to be in five years,” said Robb in the interview. “The strongest way for an artist to build himself up is by building a fan base, and there are many avenues to do that now, the Internet being one.”

Hall conducted the interview with Robb last week in famed Studio One, the main control room at Cherokee Studios used to record the likes of Rod Stewart, Elton John and John Carpenter.

“This is the kind of information you can’t get from a textbook,” said Hall. “You can’t beat getting the ins and outs of the ever-changing music business from someone like Dee, who’s lived it for over 40 years.”

The interview will air next Wednesday, November 9th, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time on “Daily Dose,” Music Plus TV’s morning entertainment news program hosted by Hall.
