Most of Productiontrax.com's stock media comes from its user base of several thousand contributors like JH Kim, who added the 300,000th royalty free file this month. Kim's contribution was a royalty free music track entitled Simple Pleasures Piano Loop 2, which sells for $12.95 for a commercial license.

To account for the continued growth, Productiontrax.com is planning to roll out several new site features and an updated user interface later this month. "Having hundreds of thousands of files (as opposed to just thousands) requires changes in the way we present our library to the world," Negron says. "We've put a lot of work into strengthening our platform from the ground up, and are working on a fresh new release that we think our customers and contributors will all appreciate."
