- Compete in Columbia Trail Masters Phuket leg in Thailand

Phuket, Thailand will be the venue of the latest leg of the Columbia Trail Masters running championships on May 6th 2012.
The event is taking place at Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club and is the second of a series of three races in Thailand this year, with the first having been held in Chonburi back in January.
Trail running is a uniquely appealing form of athletics that involves racing through scenic natural settings, allowing participants to enjoy spectacular sights, while the natural terrain is also less demanding on the joints than pavement or concrete.
Events on offer include a 21.5 km half marathon, a 10 km run and a 3 km fun race for families, meaning there are suitable challenges for people of all levels of fitness and experience.
The running begins at 06:30 local time and ends at around 12:30, with a post-race lunch to be followed by a trophy presentation ceremony.
Following the Phuket race, the final instalment of the Columbia Trail Masters, will take place in Phitsanulok this July.
