KORR Medical Technologies Names New President

Stephen P Smith was named the new president of KORR Medical Technologies March 25, 2012. He has previously served as KORR's Vice President of Operations where he successfully directed all operational, financial and accounting functions. Prior to joining KORR, Mr. Smith worked as a consultant to a number of small businesses and as the Director of Operations for Utah Foodbank Services after having previously served as their Treasurer and as a member of their Board of Directors.

From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Smith served as Chief Financial Officer of Extra Space Storage (ESS). Mr. Smith rejoined ESS in 2000 to provide financial, accounting and operational input for the design of a web-based asset management product that was subsequently spun off and named Centershift. Mr. Smith served as the Senior Vice President of Business Operations for Centershift from its inception in 2001 until 2003. He is also listed as a co-inventor on the original patent application for the product.

Mr. Smith holds a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and obtained his CPA in the state of Utah in 1987. Mr. Smith currently serves on the City Council of Sandy City, Utah.

Dr. Joseph Orr PhD, founder and previous president of KORR, will remain with the company as Chief Technical Officer.
