Free Diameter Protocol Stack Download Now Available from Diametriq Website

Diametriq, a leader in addressing LTE signaling network issues, announced today that a free evaluation version of Diametriq's market leading Accelero™ Diameter protocol stack can now be downloaded directly from the Diametriq website. This is not a subset, but the full version of the Diameter protocol stack with popular interfaces included. It can be used for 30 days or longer and includes a demo application and full documentation.

The Diameter protocol has become ubiquitous in the LTE core network and is the standard for all aspects of policy, charging and subscription management. Diameter is based on RADIUS but has been enhanced to support failover, transmission security, reliable transport, agent support, server initiated messages, capability negotiation, peer discovery and configuration and is expandable with command codes (CC) and attribute-value pairs (AVP). The base Diameter protocols have been defined in the IETF and these have been extended using additional CCs and AVPs by the GSMA, 3GPP and 3GPP2 to support interfaces between the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) network elements.
