Andrea Toupin Joins Fishman Corporation as a Customer Service Representative

Andrea is a new Customer Service Representative and will be taking phone calls, processing orders, handling expedite requests and generally helping with any customer purchasing needs and other product questions and requests.

Born and raised in Framingham Massachusetts, Andrea worked in the Records Department of the Framingham Police Station right after high school where she processed police reports and gave out FID cards. Moving on from the police station, Andrea started working for Data General. She began in the warehouse then moved up to Logistics providing support to the Field Service Representatives for contract customers. Continuing to work through the ranks, Andrea moved up to Spare Parts Sales where she identified parts and took orders for non-contract customers. In her final upward move with the company, she went into Marketing where she did part pricing, recommending spare parts lists to customers that support their own equipment and creating a spare parts catalog. While at Data General full time during the day, she attended Fisher College part time at night to earn her Associate's Degree in Business Management.
Andrea remained with Data General for 15 years until she was finally affected by one of the final rounds of layoffs. She went on to work at Epoch Systems as a Customer Service Representative. She had many responsibilities there including supporting the Sales and Field Representatives, sending out emergency parts, setting up and maintaining the customer and service contract databases, and supervising the 2 call center dispatchers. Four years into her tenure at Epoch, the company was sold to EMC where she remained for 6 more years maintaining the Epoch service contracts and ensuring customer service entitlements.
Making a major change from a manufacturing environment, Andrea moved to the financial industry where she worked for BNY Mellon. She began as an Investment Service Associate and worked her way to Control Accounting Specialist. Her responsibilities there included processing daily trades, setting up and maintaining accounts, and processing adjustments in Control Accounting.
During these years, Andrea married a self-employed contractor from Grafton where they built their dream home from plans she picked out of a magazine. This is the home in which they raised their 23 year old son. They take pride in their home and Andrea loves to spend hours in the yard landscaping and gardening.
Now Andrea has come to work for Fishman Corporation as a Customer Service Representative. Andrea is happy to be back "home" in the manufacturing industry.
