Jupiter, Fla.- David Rasmussen, international PGA tour coach, will be in coming to Jupiter to teach a two hour workshop on November 1st from 5-7pm at 400 Toney Penna Suite B at GYROTONIC® Jupiter to introduce this newest concept in fitness for golf – GYROTONIC®, to players of all levels, golf professionals and the media. Rasmussen worked with Hank Haney in the early eighties and has coached many tour players including Mark Wilson, Bobby Clampett and Keith Clearwater. GYROTONIC® is practiced around the world by people such as Shaquille O'Neal , Madonna, Julianne Moore and Terri Hatcher and has been featured on The Rachel Ray Show and The View.

Philosophy:
According to Rasmussen "The key to golf is physical fitness and just about anybody can learn to play the game reasonably well. There aren't a lot of different pieces to a good golf swing, but you have to do them right. The key is physical fitness."

Over the past 30 years, I have had one goal - to help each of my students reach their full potential in the game of golf. But few golfers ever achieve a level of success equal to the amount of hard work they've put into their game. Often, their lack of success is the result of physical limitations preventing them from performing at a level required to excel. In my experience, conventional strength training, core conditioning, and other fitness disciplines did not result in students achieving their perfect golf swing. These traditional methods are one dimensional and do not address the combination of abilities needed for the correct golf swing. The search to help my students achieve their goals finally led me to Juliu Horvath and GYROTONIC® methodology.
