BK Grang to Defend World Backyard Wrestling Championship in Triple Threat Match November 18

November 15, 2005 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
This match is sanctioned by National Championship Wrestling, the world’s largest backyard wrestling organization.

This is Gonzales’ second shot at the World Backyard Wrestling Championship. The 5’10’’, 180lb Grang defeated Iggy Gonzales via pinfall at ‘HELLoween’ on October 31 in Lubbock, Texas. However, Gonzales has two more years of wrestling experience than Grang. In addition, Gonzales defeated Grang on May 6, 2005 to end Grang’s 18-month run as NCW Texas Champion.

This match is Jeff Steele’s first shot at becoming the World Backyard Wrestling Champion. However, the 6’0, 185lb challenger is a former two-time NCW Texas Champion and a former NCW Texas US Champion. He also has an impressive record in big-match situations. His second NCW Texas Title win came in a ‘loser-leaves-NCW-Texas’ match against After Shock in 2001, ending After Shock’s wrestling career instead of his own.

A full report of this match will be available shortly after the bout on www.NCWwrestling.com, the official website of National Championship Wrestling.

Grang is the first Texan to ever hold the World Backyard Wrestling Championship, whose origins stretch back to 1971. The current custodian of the championship is National Championship Wrestling.

As all World Backyard Wrestling Champions before him, BK Grang will defend the title against any and all challengers. Prospective challengers should contact National Championship Wrestling at ncwwrestling@gmail.com for more information on receiving a title shot against Mr. Grang.

National Championship Wrestling is an international sports-entertainment company whose 30-plus affiliate organizations in 6 countries produce televised and streaming video content. Their official website is located at www.NCWwrestling.com.
