This holiday season CycleOps is announcing its CycleOps PowerBeam Pro Trainer with Virtual Training software and the all new Joule GPS. The PowerBeam is the only bike trainer that has built-in PowerTap technology to measure power output.

With the CycleOps PowerBeam Pro Trainer and PowerAgent software, cyclists can interval training programs with wattage resistance, and record every ride for power, heart rate, and speed analysis.

The new Joule GPS attaches to the PowerBeam trainer and becomes its console, enabling the rider to adjust resistance and monitor performance during a ride.

With the included Virtual Training software, riders can create routes using their Joule GPS and Google Earth™ technology, to synchronize route mapping and videos with actual outdoor terrain. The software adjusts the resistance unit to reflect actual changes in terrain along the route. Riders can even upload their own videos, and compete with friends over the internet.

"The CycleOps PowerBeam Pro Trainer is a very versatile high-performance trainer perfect for cyclists who are serious about riding, and want to stay in shape over the winter", says Sean Young, vice-president of athleti.ca, a CycleOps Canada dealer.

The CycleOps PowerBeam Pro Trainer is a strong addition to CycleOps Trainer product line, which also includes the Magneto, and the Fluid 2, With the Christmas holiday season approaching, there is no better time to consider adding a CycleOps Trainer to your holiday shopping list, and to your personal wish list.
