Media Trucks Establishes Advertising Routes for 2006 Baseball Season in Chicago

Chicago - Mobile advertising company, Media Trucks, today announced new advertising routes for baseball games at Wrigley Field and US Cellular field for the 2006 Major League Baseball season in Chicago.

“Interest in mobile advertising at sports venues in Chicago has risen steadily in the past few years,” said Media Trucks President, Doug Miles. “We expect interest to be even higher with the White Sox winning the World Series and the atmosphere in Wrigleyville during Cubs games is always great for our clients.”

According to tentative scheduling on their respective Web sites, The Chicago White Sox home opener is April 3rd and the Cubs open against St. Louis on April 7th. Each team is scheduled to play 12 home games in April.

“Sporting events provide a great atmosphere for presenting athletic products, events and services,” said J. Garrett Wilkie of the Hennepin Point Marketing Consultancy. “Mobile advertising has proven to be a high-value advertising investment for a variety of sports-related businesses.”

The company expects to have filled all of it ad space for Cubs home games by March but the company is unsure about the White Sox schedule. “We’re not sure what to expect coming off of a World Series championship,” said Miles. “We may sell out pretty quickly.”
