New York, New York - New York Metro Chapter NBMBAA Presents "The Stars Among Us" Black Tie Gala and Scholarship Awards Dinner

New York, New York - The Metro New York Chapter National Black MBA Association Presents its Fifteenth Annual Black Tie Gala and Scholarship Awards Dinner, "The Stars Among Us," on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at the Westin Hotel at Times Square in New York City.

The Honorable William Jefferson Clinton will be our Special Invited Guest and Tony Award winning actress and singer Melba Moore will be performing. There will also be a silent auction and free gifts from corporate partners. The evening will begin at 6:30 and end with a reception and silent auction at 10:30 PM.

Corporate sponsors of the event include: New York Times, Merrill Lynch, Prudential, Pfizer, Moody's, AIG and Reuters. Awardees include: Goldman Sachs, Corporate Partner of the Year, Christopher Williams, Entrepreneur of the Year, Suzanne Malveaux, Communicator of the Year, Ed Bradley, President's Award, The William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, Community Service Award, Studio Museum of Harlem, Cultural Achievement Award, and MBA of the Year, to be announced.

The Metro New York NBMBAA membership is made up of more than 550 Black business professionals, business students and entrepreneurs worldwide. Members are leaders in their communities and businesses who strive to make a difference in their spheres of influence. Many of our members are executives, professionals, entrepreneurs or students, with or without MBAs. Programs and fundraisers are designated for undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. scholarship funds, operating funds and the New York Leaders of Tomorrow program.
