For the third year running CESG and SBL are hosting the IA Practitioners' Event on 6th and 7th March, 2013 at York Racecourse. The event will incorporate the Police Information Assurance Forum (PIAF) bringing in IA Specialists from police forces throughout the UK plus the IT Security Officers' Forum (ITSOF) for central Government and the wider Public Sector. The two days comprise plenary sessions, workshops and a networking dinner and provide an opportunity for vendors and delegates across the public and private sectors to meet once a year to share their insights and experiences.
The IA Practitioners' events are chaired by Dr Ian Levy, Technical Director at CESG, and they have proved to be a great success amongst delegates and vendors within the IA industry. The PIAF and ITSOF were a new addition to the event last year and these sessions allowed attendees to discuss certain issues and concerns of their own in a 'closed environment'.
