The Dog Squad Announces 2013 Seminar Schedule

OAKLAND, CA, March 1st, 2013 — The Dog Squad, a professional dog trainer and dog obedience school, is offering five new dog training seminars beginning in April of 2013. The dog training seminars will touch upon many dog training techniques and behaviors such as Nosework, Tricks, and Off-Leash Training.

Introduction to Nosework (Open to the Public): April 3rd – May 8th, 2013
Smell is a dog's most powerful sense. In the Nosework seminar, dogs are coached to use their nose for search, rescue, tracking sports or just for fun. This technique will also help build the confidence of shy and fearful dogs.

Canine Good Citizen Test Prep (Open to the Public): May 15th – June 19th, 2013
The Canine Good Citizen Test Prep seminar is designed to help dog trainers prepare for the ACK CGC Test (Canine Good Citizen Test).

Introduction to Tricks Class (Open to the Public): June 26th – August 7th, 2013
Introduction to Tricks is the most entertaining and popular seminar for dogs and dog owners. The Trick seminar will teach dog owners on basic dog tricks such as sit, bow, spin, weave, roll over, high five, and more. This class it is a great way for dog owners to communicate and strengthen the bond with their dogs.

Off Leash I (Open to Dog Squad Clients Only): July 28th – September 8th, 2013
Off Leash II (Open to Dog Squad Clients Only): September 15th – October 20th, 2013
The Dog Squad is offering two seminars on off-leash training. These classes are designed to guide dog owners on how to bridge the gap between working on leash and being reliable off leash. Attendees must have trained with The Dog Squad (e-collar clients only), already in a regular Dog Squad Class and doing well enough to move onto more advanced work

Three of the five seminars are open to the public for a general fee, while the other two seminars are only available for current clients. These classes will take place in various East Bay cities including Oakland and San Leandro.
