West Jordan Edward Jones Office Joins "Sub for Santa" Toy Drive to Benefit South Valley Sanctuary—a shelter for victims of domestic violence

Lisa M. Turner, the local Edwards Jones Investment Representative for West Jordan, UT is joining with others in the community to practice the proverb, "tis better to give than to receive." This year, her office is honored to be one of the collectors for the South Valley Sanctuary's
"Sub for Santa" program. "With the holiday season around the corner, we are all getting ready for the festivities," Turner said. "And as this is the season of giving, now is a great time to remember the less fortunate in our community."
The local domestic violence shelter is grateful for all kinds of gifts. Children of all ages need age-appropriate toys and new clothing. The women in the shelter enjoy household items, new clothing, journals and gas as well as other gift certificates. In addition to these ideas, tape, wwrapping paper, bows, and gift tags are appriciated, as the shelter feels it is important for parents to select and wrap their children's gifts. Adult gifts, however, should be wrapped and labeled with the contents. "Being able to provide Christmas for their families is very important. Know that your work is greatly appreciated," says Paula Houston, Executive Director for the shelter.

The West Jordan Edward Jones office is accepting gifts anytime from now until December 16th. Hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Your support and assistance in helping the shelter is appreciated. If you are unable to drop off your gifts, Lisa Turner, or her assistant, Natalie Kautz, will be happy to pick them up for you.
