World Book Day - Finding that perfect costume for a Book Character

March 06, 2013 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
World Book Day is fast approaching and at A Party Shop in Hemel Hempstead, the shop has been full of Mum's & Dad's in search of a costume for their child that resembles their chosen book character. Largely incorporated within junior and lower school's curriculum it's a huge week for Ann & Karen at A Party Shop.

The challenge often is because no-one has yet brought out a licensed costume for book characters like Jack Stalwart – Secret Agent for example but luckily A Party Shop has a huge range of generic costumes for characters both human and animal. The licensed favourites are all there too; Where's Wally, Cat in The Hat, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Toy Story alongside Pirates, Cowboys & Indians and more period costumes for the older classics like the Famous Five and Roald Dahl.

A Party Shop expect to be busy right up until Thursday morning as there is a mad parents rush on opening and then a mad dash back to school to dress their child before the day's activities start.

Help and advice is always available in helping you choose a costume for a storybook character for your child and their aim is to make sure both parent and child leave happy and enjoy World Book Day to the max.
