Workshop to Focus on Growth Strategies During Economic Change and Recovery

March 13, 2013 (Las Vegas) During the economic transition and forecasted recovery that businesses currently are facing, executive leadership needs to make some critical decisions when it comes to strategizing future growth. One such leader who did so successfully in the past was John D. Rockefeller. As a result, many corporate leaders are interested in emulating Rockefeller's techniques today.

A leadership workshop being offered in April helps local executives achieve that goal. The one-day event, April 26, will concentrate on the four critical decisions business leaders must make when developing an effective growth strategy. These decisions-which focus on people, strategy, execution and cash-are based on the same habits that John D. Rockefeller employed. Verne Harnish's book, Mastering the Rockefeller Habits: What You Must Do to Increase the Value of Your Growth Firm, is the basis of the workshop.

Harnish is the founder of Gazelles Inc., a leadership firm that provides executive education, coaching and technology services to help mid-market companies around the world build and execute strategic plans. The company focuses on helping executive teams learn how to make Rockefeller's "Four Decisions."

Certified Gazelles International Coach David Chavez, also a Vistage International Chair and Strategy Business Coach, will lead the workshop at the New York New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Robbin Turner, CEO of Sable System International (Las Vegas), an instrumentation and software firm, said that attending Chavez's leadership workshop had a significant impact on the success of her organization. "Working with the Gazelles system has allowed our company to plan for and achieve success," she explained. "Knowing about best practices is a far cry from adopting them. All the leaders in our company attend the Four Decisions Workshop to learn how the Gazelles' strategic leadership tools direct real implementation of those best methods.

"Working with David Chavez and the Gazelles system focused our team on doing the right things to grow our business. If you want better results and more time, I strongly suggest you and your team spend some time with David," Turner added.
