ATLANTA – March 13, 2013 –On the occasion of the most recent American Photographic Artists' National Board meeting, the APA Board of Directors approved a new Mission Statement that 'reflects the purpose and goals of the association,' according to APA National CEO Stephen Best.

"The new mission statement provides the framework and path for APA's strategic decision-making as we move our association and membership into the future," says Best.

The non-profit photo association's Board of Directors asked their marketing committee to rewrite the Mission Statement 'in the spirit of the growth the APA has experienced over the past decade, like that of our industry,' says APA National President Theresa Raffetto.

"I'm very pleased they worked in a collaborative spirit and captured the essence of all we stand for," says Raffetto.
