  • Filmpossible, now in its third year, aims to bring visibility to disability by inviting people across a spectrum of ages and abilities to create, upload and vote for short videos and photos that capture the spirit of Bringing Visibility to Disability.

"We created filmpossible years ago with the hope to transform the public's perception of childhood disability," says Jennifer Obeid, Manager of Communications. "It's Holland Bloorview's ultimate goal to create a world of possibilities for kids with disabilities, a world where all children can live as full participants."

This year, 102 entries were received, 68 photos and 34 videos. Submissions were judged in five categories: conveying the theme Bringing Visibility to Disability, crispness of message, quality, originality and overall impression. Visibility awards were given to those who received the most votes in round one.

Public voting for filmpossible finalists is now open and continues until April 3 at 11:59 pm.

filmpossible's finalists will compete for great prizes including a grand prize of $5000 for top video, and $1000 for top photo. Winning finalists will be announced on April 3rd.

Prizes have been generously donated by our sponsors - Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, Cisco, Muir Detlefsen & Associates and GemsBok Technologies.
