Official Statistical Organization of Australia Uses InetSoft Technology for High-Level BI Needs
April 02, 2013 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology NewsPiscataway NJ – April 2, 2013 – InetSoft Technology, an innovator in data mashup driven dashboard and reporting solutions, announced today that the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australia's official statistical organization, has selected Style Intelligence to provide high-level business reporting and production dashboards to its Technology Services Division (TSD).
Initially, dashboards have been created for the division's Technology Roadmap, Executive Planning Calendar, Technology Infrastructure Portal, and ICT Services Portal. Style Intelligence has allowed for the creation of reports detailing service metrics for the Technology Infrastructure Branch, providing a quick at-a-glance view of TSD service delivery levels.
Domenic Parisi, the Team Leader of the ABS Business Reporting Group, revealed why Style Intelligence was chosen: "InetSoft was selected to deliver a product to the organization that was user friendly and provided a generic tool set that it could connect to many supported data sources. The objective was to spend time producing the information that people wanted rather than building a reporting system. It needed to be user customizable, easy to use and develop, have an extensive feature set, and support both batch or near real-time data access."
Mark Flaherty, InetSoft's Chief Marketing Officer responded by saying, "We are pleased that ABS selected our BI application to fill a number of gaps in its information visualization needs. As a sophisticated analytics-driven organization, ABS found the value of our solution: its ability to bridge the gap between simple end-user-friendly presentation tools normally found on the desktop, and the complexity of diverse data environments found throughout large organizations.
Style Intelligence is a full-featured business intelligence solution for dashboard reporting that includes a powerful data mashup engine. End-users get visually compelling, highly interactive access to data, and IT gets a highly customizable, easy to learn and quick to deploy business intelligence toolset and information delivery platform. Data mashup capabilities allow for the integration of disparate data sources, enabling agile development and providing maximum self-service, while the application's SOA architecture and open standards-based technology make for an ideal embedding and integration-ready application for dashboards, production reporting, and visualization.
