The Athens Antique Mall of Athens, Georgia has launched a new web site, www.athensantiquemall.com, feauring many antique dealers displaying fine American and Continental antiques.
Andrea Carter, owner of the Athens Antique Mall, has been in the antiques business for over 25 years. She has countless antique items for sale, both American and Continental, including antique artwork, antique and reproduction furniture, jewelry, glassware, china, antique desks, tables, jewelry boxes and other collectables. You can usually find Andrea at the mall and she buys as well as sells antiques.

The new website features seveal of the Mall's Dealers including Fred McLean, Gilbert Milner and Ron Evans, each specializing different periods and merchandise.

The McLean Antiques Showroom

Fred McLean, owner of McLean’s Refinishing, www.mcleansrefinishing.com, always has several great pieces of antique furniture plus many accessories at the Athens Antique Mall. Fred has been in the antique repair and refinishing business for over 28 years and is an expert on antique furniture. Currently, Fred has many items for sale including, Mahogany Queen Ann Dinning Chairs, an Oak Rocker, an Oak Dinning table, several pieces of fine Blue Willow China, a Cherry Cupboard, Wood picture frames and prints, and other assorted pieces.

Evans Antique Showroom

Ron Evans, owner of Evans’ Antiques, offers fine American antique furniture, decorative arts and paintings from the Sheraton, Late Classical and Mid Victorian periods. Ron has years of experience collecting and dealing in American antiques. He has directed and consulted on the furnishing of several historic homes and house museums, including the 1856 Ware-Lyndon House in Athens, Georgia and the 1858 Edwards Plantation in Arnoldsville, Georgia. Some of the antique pieces offered include card tables, sideboards, dressers, chairs, secretary desks, bookcases, chests, footstools, side tables, candlesticks, lamps, paintings, boxes, and Old Paris vases and urns. Milner Antiques Showroom

Gilbert Milner has been an antique collector and dealer for many years. He specializes in pieces of antique furniture and porcelains from prominent Georgia estates. He now has on hand middle to late 1880’s American furnishings from the Andrew T. Cobb estate of Clarke County, Georgia and the Nunnally estate from Walton County, Georgia.
