Bounce Energy Gives to World Wildlife Fund as Part of Electricity Company's Earth Day Celebration
April 19, 2013 (PRLEAP.COM) Business NewsFor the month of April, Bounce Energy will be donating $2,500 and 50 cents for every new "Like" we receive on Facebook to the World Wildlife Fund. With Earth Day being celebrated on April 22nd, the electricity provider is spending the entire month celebrating the environment and how the electricity company can help better it.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has been the world's leading nature conservation organization since 1961, as it seeks to preserve and protect our environment, along with the animals and people that populate it. By combining state-of-the-art scientific knowledge with an indefatigable drive to care for all aspects of nature, the World Wildlife Fund seeks to connect with like-minded communities, leaders, and governments around the globe in hopes of improving our world. The WWF strives to teach people, governments, and businesses that nature should be cherished, and that respect should be shown through the implementation of policies and procedures that reduce harmful impact upon the environment and increase conservation measures.
As Carter Roberts, the President and CEO of the WWF states on the non-profit's website:
"For conservation to last, the integration and interconnectedness of WWF's approaches must be of equal measure to those of nature and to the forces that threaten our future."
Bounce Energy believes in the mission of World Wildlife Fund, and the electricity company hopes to assist the organization with its conservation efforts. Interested parties and participants can visit Bounce on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr throughout April to learn more about how the company provides its customers, friends, and followers with green living tips and energy efficiency information to the benefit of the environment.
