Free Seminar for Caregivers of Memory Impaired Older Adults is December 6 in St. Louis

St. Louis, Missouri … “Steps to Success: Practical Tools for Caregivers of the Memory Impaired” is the topic of a free elder advocacy seminar set for 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday December 6, 2005 at the Clayton Recreation Center, 50 Gay Avenue.

The forum hosted by the law firm of Gallop, Johnson & Neuman and Home Instead Senior Care of St. Louis is open to the public. It is part of the monthly “Encyclopedia of Aging” series of free elder care education programs hosted in St. Louis.

Stefanie Osiek, M.A., of Memory Care Home Solutions, a resource for persons caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s, dementia or memory impairment, will speak at the event moderated by Kathie B. Dudley, elder care attorney at Gallop, Johnson & Neuman and former judge in Missouri’s 11th Judicial Circuit.

“This free program will offer advice and encouragement for caregivers of memory-impaired older adults, plus practical tips to help reduce day-to-day challenges of providing such in-home care,” Ms. Dudley said.
