Detroit, Mich. – June 26, 2013 – In an effort to help Detroit businesses grow, the Adcraft Club of Detroit and D:hive have teamed up to offer marketing strategy and creative content to Detroit Maid, this year's selected applicant in a community initiative called hello:Detroit.

The initiative will assemble regional volunteers from all disciplines July 26-28 into a "flash" agency to develop marketing communications strategy and content on behalf of Detroit Maid, a residential cleaning service for busy families and professionals founded by lifelong metro-Detroit resident, Danielle Smith. Collaborating together, the business owner and the team of advertising professionals will design their own unique brand, and the Adcraft Club of Detroit will provide the necessary resources to bring that vision to life.

"The creative community is an integral element of a resurgent Detroit," said Adcraft Club of Detroit President Sherrie Weitzman. "With initiatives like hello:Detroit, we're providing a venue for the area's best creative and marketing expertise to impact the local entrepreneurial community. And at the same time, bring greater vitality to the region through focused contributions of our community's talent."

Now through July 7, the Adcraft Club of Detroit and D:hive are accepting applications for creative volunteers to participate in hello:Detroit. From those applicants, a flash agency will be assembled and announced on July 10.
