Complete Care Medicine announces the addition of Kody Smith, M.D., to the team of health care specialists who take care of your family. Dr. Kody Smith grew up in San Diego, CA, where he fostered a love for surfing and a wide variety of other ocean sports. Not surprisingly, he became a very successful tri-athlete in college. Never really losing his love for sports, he still is very active on the triathlon circuit and regularly trains to stay in top shape. Since he is well aware of health problems experienced by amateur and semi-pro athletes, Dr. Smith is also the physician to contact for your child's sports physicals Gilbert schools routinely require.
Dr. Smith is a family man who likes to play the guitar, read and also spend some time working on cars when he can. In the Air Force Reserve, he serves as a flight doctor. He is a frequent volunteer at a non-profit medical clinic, where he administers vaccinations Gilbert adults and children need.
This physician brings a well-rounded skill set to Complete Care Medicine. In addition to being particularly interested in pediatric medicine, Dr. Smith also excels at caring for geriatric patients, handling women's health issues, performing expert wound care, providing preventive medicine advice and dealing with all issues related to diabetes.
