Pete Coates, C.A.C. Pottery Studio Manager comments, "The pottery sale offers the students and faculty and opportunity to work cooperatively as a community on a project that is a lot of fun and mutually beneficial. Pottery is an art form that people are particularly interested in because of its aesthetic and functional quality. So many students begin the pottery classes with the idea that they are not creative or artistic, and yet everyone one of them walk away feeling great because they have made something tangible with their own two hands.' The City Arts Center annual pottery sale has become one of the most sought after pre-holiday sales in the metro area with an opportunity to purchase handmade pottery gifts for the holidays. It will take place from December 2 – December 22, 2004. Sale begins at 9:00am on December 2, and ends at 10pm on December 22, 2004.
