On Sunday, November 10th, join us for From Fifth Avenue to Fifth Position, a private brunch benefit for Ballet in Cleveland, a nonprofit ballet presentation company committed to revolutionizing ballet, held at Saks Fifth Avenue (26100 Cedar Rd., Beachwood, OH 44122). Ashley Bouder, principal dancer with New York City Ballet, and Phil Chan, general manager of Armitage Gone! Dance Company will discuss their experiences as leading dance professionals and why ballet is more exciting than ever.

The event will begin with a New York City Ballet-themed brunch, complimented by the live string music of Ariel Clayton and Opus 216. The musical ensemble will add to the New York City Ballet theme by playing the music of ballets in the New York City Ballet repertoire. Each table will reflect the ballets of New York City Ballet's founder, George Balanchine. The elegant brunch will be followed by a fall fashion presentation, showcasing the season's most exciting trends.

Maureen Kyle of WKYC will then lead a discussion with the dancers. Bouder will enlighten guests with commentary on being dressed for ballets in costumes by the legendary Valentino and other top designers, highlighting how ballet and high fashion naturally converge. Ms. Bouder and Mr. Chan will share exclusive details about a special performance slated for 2014 to be presented at PlayhouseSqaure by Ballet in Cleveland which includes a world premiere.

Following the discussion and the opportunity for a question and answer period with the dancers will be a private shopping event, complete with a $25.00 Saks gift card included with the price of admission. Ballet in Cleveland will receive 10% of all purchases made the day of the event, up to $2,000! Tickets to this unique event are $50.
