Supporting Pregnant Students In Public Yoga Classes, An Afternoon with Sue Elkind

Montgomery County, PA - SSP Yoga would like to invite you to a special afternoon workshop with Sue Elkind for anyone interested in Yoga and pregnancy! The workshop will include asana, discussion, and education about pregnancy and prenatal Yoga. The workshop will take place on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at SSP Yoga in Fort Washington, PA from 1 - 4 PM. The cost will be $60. Learn information to immediately apply in your classes as a teacher or a student of yoga, including key points of pregnancy and the trimesters. Understand the ways in which yoga can support greater health for both mama and baby throughout pregnancy. Sue will introduce her new book, DIG Pregnancy, Birth & Baby: A Conscious & Empowered Approach to Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga, and the wealth of information it provides for prenatal and postnatal yoga students and teachers of all backgrounds.

Sue Elkind has been practicing yoga since 1990 and teaching since 1996. She is recognized for her inspiring and detailed instruction, and enjoys creatively sequencing her classes to expand her students potential both physically and spiritually. Her passion for learning and incorporating yoga into all aspects of her life, including her role as a mother of two, creates an inexhaustible enthusiasm to teach from her heart.
She is the co-founder of DIG YOGA, in Lambertville, New Jersey, along with her husband Naime Jezzeny, and a partner with her long-time student and friend Mariel Freeman in DIG YOGA's second location in Philadelphia, PA.
Sue is the author of DIG Pregnancy, Birth & Baby: A Conscious and Empowered Approach to Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, and has been featured on the Crunch fitness prenatal yoga video Yoga Mama (2000), Sportskool's cable network for prenatal yoga, as well as Fit Pregnancy, W Magazine, and Spa magazine. Sue also has been a contributing writer for Fit Pregnancy and travels internationally as a teacher trainer.
