Los Angeles radio talk show host talks with Anne Rice about vampires, God and Christmas

Los Angeles syndicated radio talk show host Paul McGuire interviews best-selling author Anne Rice about vampires, her religious conversion and Christmas. Rice who has written 25 novels including “Diary of a Vampire” and “Blood Chronicles,” has a new book out entitled “Christ the Lord.” Anne Rice’s books have sold over 50 million copies. As a novelist, Anne has moved from the vampire Lestat, to talking about God as the “ultimate supernatural hero.”

McGuire whose nationally syndicated Paul McGuire Show broadcasts live from Los Angeles on KBRT, hosts one of the most unique radio talk shows in the nation. Paul McGuire believes in “mixing it up,” and has guests from divergent groups. Last week McGuire had his pal, Tim LaHaye of “Left Behind,” along with former-President Jimmy Carter This week he will have on Anne Rice and Dr. James Dobson, President of Focus on the Family on his show. In times past, California Senator, and gay-rights activist Shiela Kuehl has joined him.

Paul McGuire is an author of 14 books including his latest, “Are You Ready?” “Are You Ready?” deals with the prospect of a nuclear attack against the United States and the Middle East peace process. He is a professor at the Kings College, and a frequent guest on national news television shows. The Paul McGuire Show is syndicated across the nation and has been on the air for 8 years.
