Jan. 23, 2014, Greenville, S.C. - S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson will visit Lead Academy on Tuesday, Jan. 28 to speak to the middle school's student body.

Wilson will address the entire school, consisting of 140 fifth- through eighth-graders. Half of his presentation will include a question and answer session with the entire student body, and in the second half, Wilson will discuss topics relevant to the nation's current events with the eighth grade students. Lead Academy students will be encouraged to take part in the discussion and are prepared to ask questions of Wilson.

"We are honored to host Attorney General Alan Wilson, and the experience of hearing his presentation will enrich our students," said Rodney Johnson, Lead Academy's principal. "At Lead Academy, we emphasize preparing students for their future careers, and Wilson's visit may spark an interest in politics for our students."

Wilson, the nation's youngest attorney general at the time of his election, is currently serving South Carolina in his third stint in office.
