As We End Another Year, Would You Like A New Career?

If You Have The Drive, Scottsdale’s New Automotive Dealership Institute
Can Open The Door To Lucrative Opportunities In The Automotive Industry!

Scottsdale, Ariz., -– The Automotive Dealership Institute (ADI) is one of Arizona’s newest and most unique vocational schools. ADI’s specialized courses provide students with expert training in the automotive dealership arts, through financial management and service advising programs that pave the way for successful careers at franchised new car dealerships, used-car dealerships, auto finance companies, banks and other lenders, as well as independent repair facilities.

The Institute’s Automotive Finance Management course is designed to teach students the skills necessary to become a successful automotive finance and insurance (F&I) manager and Internet sales manager in just four weeks. Since it also covers the entire sales process, it enables those with no previous automotive experience to learn how the industry works.

Juanita Stanley is a recent graduate of the program. For 15 years, she helped save lives as a trauma nurse at hospitals in Phoenix, Chandler and Mesa, Arizona. Today, she’s still helping people – only now she is doing so by making their dreams come true at Infiniti of Superstition Springs.

After she was injured by a combative patient, Juanita knew it was time to change careers. She began researching new opportunities and considered going back to college when she came across an ad for a new school in Scottsdale that specializes in training finance and insurance managers for new car dealerships. She decided to check it out.

“What appealed to me was the short period of training – only four weeks – along with the high income potential,” Juanita says.

According to the National Automobile Dealers Association, the industry’s largest trade organization, F&I managers in the region that includes Arizona earned, on average, $93,325 in 2002, the most recent survey year. That’s considerably more than the $60,000 annual income Juanita had been earning as a nurse. She applied for a low-cost student loan that included a generous allowance for living expenses while she attended school, and was able to defer her payments for a year. Then she hit the books. After graduation, Juanita was hired as a finance manager at the Infiniti dealership which couldn’t be happier with her performance.

“The school changed my life, my perspective, my outlook on life,” she says. “It has changed my attitude, and I love my job.”

ADI’s Automotive Service Advisor program provides students with the practical tools and knowledge required to become a highly-skilled service advisor, either at a franchised new-car dealership or at an independent shop. In two weeks of dedicated study, students absorb the essentials of service management and learn how to interact with customers in order to meet their needs and keep customer satisfaction at its highest levels. Service advisors are always in demand, and you don’t have to be a mechanic to become one! The average income for service advisors in the region including Arizona, in 2002, the most up-to-date-figures available, was approximately $45,500 according to a publication put out by the National Automobile Dealers Association.

A good service advisor is not only an asset to a dealership or repair center, but also to the customer. ADI’s course teaches students the proper forms of communication, from greeting the customer to following up after service. Interpreting customer concerns regarding vehicle mechanical problems, discussing maintenance issues, and completing work orders are also covered in depth.

Mitch Lane, a recent graduate of ADI’s Service Advisor program said, “The program is excellent, informative, educational, and fun. I feel confident that the covered material and conversations I had with my instructor have provided me a strong foundation to do well as a Service Advisor.”

Mitch accepted a Service Advisor position at the Berge Volkswagen dealership within two weeks of his graduation.

ADI’s artfully designed campus facility includes classrooms featuring the latest in technology and a beautifully landscaped patio area reserved exclusively for student use.
Students must be at least 18 years of age and possess either a high school diploma or a G.E.D. It does not matter whether students have completed their education in the United States or abroad. Out-of-state students can initiate the enrollment process through e-mail, phone or fax.

The Automobile Dealership Institute welcomes all students interested in an automotive career, regardless of race, sex, ethnicity or other factors. ADI courses are available to students participating in vocational rehabilitation or government-sponsored back-to-work programs.

Eligible students can apply for student loans to cover the cost of tuition as well as living expenses. Loan applications can be requested during the admissions process. If students are unable to qualify for a student loan on their own, they are encouraged to resubmit with co-signers who have more established credit histories.
