First Single by Evans Blue Chosen For Backyard Wrestling Free-Per-View

“Cold (But I’m Still Here)” To Be Used For “NCW Avalanche” Event On January 14

National Championship Wrestling, the world’s largest backyard wrestling organization, announced today that it has chosen “Cold (But I’m Still Here)” by Evans Blue as the official theme song of their upcoming “NCW Avalanche” free-per-view wrestling webcast.

The event will be a two-hour showcase of NCW’s unique brand of backyard wrestling that is represented by over thirty backyard wrestling federations on five continents. “NCW Avalanche” will be the first of twelve monthly free-per-view events that National Championship Wrestling will present during the 2006 calendar year.

Evans Blue’s first single, “Cold (But I’m Still Here),” was added to Sirius Satellite Radio’s Octane Channel in early September and has been receiving Top 5 Requests ever since. It was also added to KUPD in Phoenix and was featured twice on Hard Drive Radio (115 US markets) in September.

Evans Blue was formed just over a year ago when its five members connected through a local musician’s message board in their home province of Ontario. The band has written and recorded their debut album, The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume, which will be completed in early November 2005 and released on February 21, 2006 on The Pocket Recordings/Hollywood Records. Evans Blue has an official website at www.evansblue.com.

National Championship Wrestling is an international sports-entertainment company whose 30-plus affiliate organizations on 5 continents produce televised and streaming video content. NCW is also the official custodian of the World Backyard Wrestling Championship (currently held by BK Grang) whose origins stretch back to 1971.
