Dr. Oz to Speak to the Adcraft Club of Detroit in May
April 16, 2014 (PRLEAP.COM) Business NewsDETROIT, April 16, 2014 – Renowned television host and health expert Dr. Oz will speak to the Adcraft Club of Detroit at a luncheon Monday, May 19. The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the San Marino Club at 1685 E. Big Beaver Road in Troy. Dr. Oz will speak on his latest venture, Hearst's The Good Life magazine, a new healthy lifestyle magazine featuring health, beauty, relationship and personal finance content, including Oz-approved recipes, holistic remedies and diet tips.

Dr. Oz is the host of the five-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning "The Dr. Oz Show," which airs locally weekdays at 4 p.m. on WXYZ - Channel 7. He is Vice Chairman and a professor in the Department of Surgery at Columbia University in New York City.
Prior to his own show, Dr. Oz was a featured health expert on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." In addition to regular appearances on the "Today" show, he has also been featured on "Good Morning America," "Larry King Live," "The View" and "Piers Morgan Tonight." He has guest-hosted the "Charlie Rose" show and appeared on all the evening news broadcasts. He also served as medical director of Denzel Washington's "John Q" and participated in several other feature films.
Dr. Oz has authored more than 400 original publications, book chapters and medical books, including seven New York Times Best Sellers, has received several patents and continues to perform more than 100 heart surgeries per year.
